There are several shortcuts for manipulating items in a List window with the keyboard. Keyboard shortcuts for selecting items and extending selections are shown
here. The shortcuts shown here accomplish tasks other than manipulating selections.

| ⌘ + ↑ | Show item’s parent folder. |
| ⌘ + ↓ | Open selected items. Same as ⌘ + O. |
| → | Expand selected folders. |
| Option + → | Expand folders and all subfolders. |
| ← | Close expanded folders. |
| ⌫ | Remove the selected items from the list. |
| ⌘ + ⌫ | Move the selected items to the Trash. |
| ⌘ + Shift + Option + ⌫ | Delete the selected items. |
| ⌘ + I | Open the selected items in a File Buddy Info window. |
| ⌘ + O | Open the selected items as if they were double-clicked in the Finder. |
| ⌘ + R | Show the selected items in the Finder. |
| ⌘ + Option + R | Refresh the list data for all items. |
| ⌘ + Shift + R | Refresh the list data for the currently items. |
| ⌘ + S | Save the current list. |
| ⌘ + C | Copy list information for the selected items to the Clipboard. |
